I'm specially fond of food booths.
Vendors are cheerful and there is plenty of great food there!

Ah, the Ramble!
Ah the Ramble! That's a feast! Even with my small brains I remember it from last year and I was longing for it.
Last weekend for three days Fairchild was filled with color and laughs.

Ceiba speciosa or Silk floss tree
I told you yesterday. Today I will start with thorns. You can complain as much as you wish, but the thorns of the Ceiba trunk are... glory! No other tree saved me more times from ugly big animals... and kids.
Yes, definitely if you have kids at home rather you don't plant that tree in any accessible spot.

Ceiba insignis or Silk floss tree
I was telling you yesterday that I climbed to a Ceiba tree to avoid the mob of dogs that came in.
Today and tomorrow I will show you two Ceiba tree species that you can find at Fairchild.
Today I will show you the flowers of the Ceiba insignis; tomorrow the thorns. That's life!

The Dogs' Day was really a Dog's Day! - II
As I was telling you, it WAS a scary day! With such amount of beasts going around.
Actually as soon as I realized what was coming I climbed a tree and stayed there for the rest of the day. I was starving but I was more scared than hungry!

The Dogs' Day was really a Dog's Day! - I
Last weekend was awful! Believe me.
Fairchild was invaded by the most weird mob that I have seen in centuries.
My memory is very small in order to fit
